You Post: Reason for Your Future Vote

Cite it, work through it, and post what you feel explains to other voters why you will vote.

We Circulate: Help People Choose

We will circulate people's reasons to expose our audience to the best arguments from all sides. This way, if you have a strong position, you have a chance to help people make a decision.

Learn and Adopt

Read people's reasons, learn what the best positions are, and make an educated adjustment to your position.

Explanation

So I am an undecided voter. With the amount of BS that has been flying about on all sides, I no longer have a clue what to think. The purpose of this site is to reduce the distance between valuable, credible information and voters.

For example, suppose Bob understrands healthcare and can explain very very well why candidate X is better than Y. Then he persuades Mary and then Mary tries to persuade Joe, and Joe tries to persuade Kate. Well, by the time Joe is trying to persuade Kate, Joe doesn't really understand what is going on very well, so Kate is confused and thinks he has no clue.

So what is the solution to this? The solution is for Mary to say "I believe this because of Bob". Than Joe says "I believe this because of Mary". And then Kate would be able to talk to see that Joe leads to Mary leading to Bob, so she can hear what Bob says and be persuaded that indeed there is a reason to choose X over Y. So, in effect, what I would like to do, is identify people who understand various subjects so that it is easier for me (and other undecided people like me) make a decision. Topologically, this means that Bob is able to have a larger audience because he understands the subject and people can reference him:

In effect, what we are doing is making it easier for people to pass knowledge to each other about why they arrived at some specific conclusion. After all, most of us make conclusions because either we understand the subject or someone whom we trust has formed our opinion.

So I invite everyone to contribute their source and reason.
